Simple yet powerful

This is a very steep price tag for a sound editor that looks very simple and can not do a lot of things. But what you pay for here is your own time, which you will save plenty of if you are like I am.

First of all: I own Logic and Pro Tools and many other professional audio software packages. But often times I have a short and simple recording from a choir concert or some speech. And I want to simply cut it into pieces, apply some simple effects (compression, normalization, maybe noise reduction, …) and save it into several files to send to my friends. Since I decided that my pro audio tools would be tremendous overkill for this task, I usually used the free Audacity.

This will work fine if you have time to spare or dont do this very often. Then by all means, dont spend the money. But if you want a really quick and elegant editor to be able to work at a fast pace, I say Sound Studio is well worth the money.
