excellent audio waveform editor

sound studio has been around since the old OS9 days, and has a clean document-oriented interface. i find the method of selecting audio waveforms with both the mouse and keyboard cursor very intuitive and this provides for quick and easy edits on raw audio waveforms. this new version on the app store adds import/export in numerous standard audio formats.

the only thing i found missing was that i had to go repeatedly into Preferences to switch back and forth between the four inputs on my scarlett 6i6 usb audio interface — it would have been much easier if one could select the audio input interface & input channel in the toolbar along the top of the document window.
